The Specialist Basketball Program aims to develop the basketball skills of students to their fullest potential. Students are provided with a range of opportunities to grow and excel in an environment that caters to their abilities, allowing individuals to maximise their development and take their game to the next level.
Ricky Grace is the Head Coach of the Court Grammar Specialist Basketball Program. Grace basketball is an individually designed program by 2000 Olympian and NBL Wildcat Legend & Hall of Fame basketballer Ricky Grace.
Participants train two sessions each week and compete in a variety of competitions that are organised each year.
At CGS, Ricky runs the following basketball Programs:
- Year 5/6 Ricky Grace Basketball Academy (expression of interest through Primary PE)
- Year 7 Ricky Grace Basketball Academy (Term 2 trial each Year)
- Year 8-10 Ricky Grace Basketball Academy (Term 2 trial, 2025 ONLY)
