The Kindy and Pre-Primary students participated in an interactive session with Robyn from St John Ambulance and her assistant Kura, the paramedic bear. Robyn spoke about the different between minor injuries and emergencies and when it is important to call the ambulance for help. 000 is the number to call and all children were given a special phone to practice this on. Robyn and Kura then read a story which followed the journey of a young child who needed the assistance of paramedics. Once the story was finished Robyn took everyone on an ambulance tour ending with a lights and siren show.
