Book Lists

Primary School

Primary School students do not have book lists or stationery requirements as the Resource Levy billed for each student covers this. However, some additional items are required to be purchased depending on which year level the student is in. Details of these items will be sent to guardians at the start of the school year.

Secondary School

Secondary School booklists show the complete list of requirements for every subject offered in each particular year group. Students are only required to purchase the items relevant to their subject selections. The list of subjects that a student is enrolled into for 2024 has been sent to all families. Compare the list of your child's subjects to the relevant booklist below to ensure you cover all requirements.

Devices

Primary School

In Primary, students from Year 3 are required to have an Apple ICT device to assist with their learning.

Court Grammar School recommends the Apple iPad 10.9" (10th Generation) Wi-Fi 64GB or 256GB (no sim card model). Devices should not have cellular capabilities and it is advised to keep the device in a drop-proof case and screen protector and to be sure that either your home contents insurance covers loss or damage of the device or consider purchasing AppleCare+ to cover accidental damage to the device.

iPads with higher specifications, such as the iPad Pro are allowed, however giving an expensive device to a Primary School student is not advisable.

Secondary School

In Secondary, all students are required to have an Apple ICT device to assist with their learning. Students have the choice to bring either an iPad or MacBook. Most students will find the iPad suitable to complete their school work, however, some subjects that require more extensive reporting writing might be aided by the use of a MacBook. Students who chose an ATAR path towards university might also find an MacBook beneficial to their studies.

The recommended MacBook device is the Apple MacBook Air Retina 13" M2 8-Core CPU, 8-Core GPU, 16GB memory, 256GB storage.

The recommended iPad is the Apple iPad 10.9" (10th Generation) Wi-Fi 64GB or 256GB (no sim card model).
